Initially as a two-day festival, Download Festival expanded to three-days in 2005. Owned and managed by Live Nation, Download Festival typically occurs on the second weekend in June and features rock, heavy metal, and punk musical genres. Founded in 2003, the Download Festival is an annual three-day rock festival that is hosted at Donnington Park in Leicestershire, England, which also played host for the Monsters Of Rock Music Festivals between 1980-1996 as well as 2002's Ozzfest.
